IIIPRO BR01 Cable Actuated Hydraulic Disc Brake Calipers
For riders keeping compatible cable-operated road brake levers, BR01 combines mechanical cable input with hydraulic actuation inside each caliper. This front and rear pair is designed for flat mount road disc brake setups.
A Different Construction for Lower Cable Resistance
BR01 was selected through the S2HCYCLE RideLogic approach to address unnecessary friction in the brake cable path. Its distinct cable-entry and actuation layout allows a smoother approach to the caliper and can substantially reduce cable-pull resistance when the housing is correctly routed. The benefit depends on your frame, fork, cable condition and housing layout.
Dual Piston Braking
Two pistons move the pads towards the rotor from both sides. This bilateral action supports balanced pad engagement rather than relying on one moving pad to push the rotor towards a fixed pad. Correct alignment and pad clearance remain essential.
Keep Compatible Cable Operated Levers
The brake cable operates the caliper’s hydraulic mechanism, so this is not a full hydraulic lever-and-hose system. Existing levers may be retained only when their cable pull is suitable for these calipers. Check compatibility before installation.

Installation and Care
Have a qualified bicycle mechanic select the correct adapters and bolt lengths, route the housing without tight bends, secure the cable and align both calipers. Follow the applicable component instructions for tightening and bedding in. Confirm full actuator return, free wheel rotation and dependable brake engagement before riding. Keep oil and grease away from pads and rotors; inspect cable condition and pad wear regularly.
