Each option is sold separately. Shift and brake inner cables are not interchangeable. The MTB transverse barrel-head brake version is not offered.

COMPATIBILITY AND UPGRADE CHOICE

The shift option is not restricted to 9-speed and above. Systems with fewer speeds may also use it when the cable head, diameter, length and component requirements match.

Choose according to compatibility, cable condition and upgrade budget. The amount of improvement depends on the complete cable system.

The road brake option is for compatible cable-operated road brake levers accepting this mushroom head.

These inner cables do not replace hydraulic brake hoses or electronic shifting wires. Confirm compatibility with the actual bicycle system before installation.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

One inner cable in the selected specification.

No outer housing, cable end caps, tools or other accessories are included. This is not a front-and-rear pair or a complete cable kit.

INSTALLATION GUIDANCE

1. Check cable-head fit, required length, housing condition and routing.
2. Follow the component manual to access and remove the old cable.
3. Seat the replacement cable head fully and route the cable through suitable housing.
4. Secure and adjust the cable according to the component instructions.
5. Trim and finish the cable end as instructed.
6. Test operation and secure attachment before riding.

Use component-specific torque and coating-compatible lubrication guidance.

MAINTENANCE

Inspect regularly for fraying, corrosion, coating damage or increasing resistance. Replace damaged cable or housing as needed.

A new inner cable cannot correct every housing, routing or component fault.
